Our client, a leader in their business sector, is currently looking to employ an experienced Health and Safety Officer to their team. This position is Port Elizabeth based.

Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements:
- At least three years’ experience within the Health and Safety field.
- Health and Safety related qualification.
- Valid drivers license and own transport.
- Ability to present training to groups of employees.
- Computer literate.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Strong administrative skills.
- Investigate incidents using root cause analysis tools and compile incident reports.
- Report-writing skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally, verbally and in writing, in English.
Responsibilities and expectations include but are not limited to:
- Implement, monitor and enforce compliance to OHS legislation.
- Minimise company risk through IOD management.
- Ensure emergency preparedness of the sites.
- Ensure hygiene of the sites.
- Contractor management.
- Environmental management.
- Assist with ISO implementation.
- Facilitate health and safety audits.
