Duties and Responsibilities:
- Foster a culture driven by HWWT2 principles.
- Ensure effective staffing using ESP and RTP based on forecasts approved by the RGM.
- Verify new employees have completed required paperwork and facilitate their induction and training.
- Maintain employee files and training records, driving development for team members.
- Manage Employee Relations, track absence, and ensure adherence to legal health and safety standards.
- Ensure security protocols are followed.
- Create a customer-focused environment.
- Assist with ROCC evaluations and action plans.
- Manage customer complaints and health audit issues.
- Utilize tools and reports to deliver excellent customer service.
- Drive sales by maintaining high operational standards and promoting a strong sales culture.
- Support team incentives and ensure up-to-date product knowledge.
- Accurately forecast and manage stock to ensure product availability.
- Control restaurant costs and monitor performance against BSC and P&L targets.
- Assist in strategy execution for maximizing profitability.
- Support cost-saving plans and manage relevant reports and systems.
- Stand in for RGM as needed, support other restaurants, and manage new product rollouts.
- Act as an ambassador at events and adapt to new systems and processes.
Requirements
NQF Level 5 or 6 Certificate (Incomplete is accepted).
Previous experience of managing a diverse workforce.
Demonstrates strong Sales Focus.
Effective Coaching.
Basic HR/IR knowledge (disciplinary/grievance process).
