Job Description: Support the head winemaker with daily cellar activities to make the best possible wine.
Manage the cellar team together with the head winemaker.
Perform quality and hygiene control.
Responsible for administration regarding SAWIS, IPW certification, FSA audit, BMV and 5-S.
Inventory control.
Assist at wine fairs and festivals.
Assist at wine club events.
Handle administration regarding competition entries.
Liaise between in-house workers and contract teams.
Any other wine related activities.
Qualifications: BScAgric or BAgric Viticulture and Oenology
Relevant experience in a cellar will strengthen your application.
Good wine knowledge.
Passionate team player with good interpersonal skills.
Valid driving license is a requirement.
Must be able to drive a forklift.
Must be able to work under pressure.
Must be available to work weekends and holidays upon request (especially during press time).
Own accommodation and transport.
