The position requires operating a modern fleet on an agreed shift pattern, delivering palette loads to HGV-friendly locations.
Key responsibilities include:
● Undertake a minimum of four nights per week away from base, utilizing secure company locations for overnight stays in the vehicle.
● Operate within a designated region surrounding the base depot, ensuring efficient route management and timely deliveries.
● Maintain strict adherence to all road safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy goods vehicles.
● Ensure the proper handling and security of all cargo during transit and at delivery points.
● Accurately complete all required documentation, including delivery receipts and vehicle inspection reports.
● Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with safety standards.
