This is a fantastic opportunity with a quality commercial insurance brokerage based in a very appealing and beautiful part of the UK, joining the SME team dealing with a wide variety of commercial clients with annual premium spends of up to £15k.
This team is responsible for the full account handling process, dealing with new enquiries, making amendments to existing policies, and marketing and negotiating renewals.
This is a lively team of 5 brokers/account handlers with a great dynamic, all focused on providing an exceptional level of service to the client portfolio. Clients will be 100% commercial, including smaller package policies, property, casualty, commercial combined, and some commercial motor/fleet.
As Team Manager, you will lead by example, providing full support to the team, identifying and implementing training requirements, acting as a technical referral point, and liaising with Senior directors to set targets, agree budgets, and focus on maintaining and improving the client experience.
Ideal applicants will have a commercial insurance broking background with a good all-round knowledge of most classes of commercial insurance; some previous management experience would be beneficial but is not essential. Previous use of the Acturis system would be a bonus, although not a prerequisite.
Applicants will need to be smart, professional, and strong communicators with great attention to detail; a positive and dynamic persona keen to maintain a friendly and professional working environment.
This role comes with an excellent salary of up to £35k + comprehensive benefits, which includes 27 days holiday + the option to buy/sell more, private medical, dental, life cover, and a very generous pension contribution way above the industry average. This can be a flexible role with some home working.
