Roles and Responsibilities Skills Development In liaison with the Group Talent Manager, implements companys overarching Learning and Development Strategy and programmes in line with business objectives the development and communication of a competency model for company Ensure timeous submission of WSP and ATR Maintain and update skills development records monthly. Ensure maximum points for skills development are achieved for BBBEE Ensure apprenticeship, learnerships and internships are administered and managed effectively Training Needs Analysis Compile training plans based on identified training needs and required resources. Consolidate training plans according to company needs Build quarterly and annual training program Present all the technical and supply training requirements Budget Prepare budget for training programs and workshops Manage and monitor the training spent/budget Coordination of Training Schedule, and coordinates training interventions, venues, attendance registers, and reports on all training processes. Oversee employee attendance and performance Track employee success and progress Oversee the skills transfer programme and ensure expatriates transfer skills and knowledge to local employees Communicate all the training programs on a timely basis Facilitation Prepare and deliver training courses Selects or develops training aids, including training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works. Implement training KPIs Delivers group and individual instruction and training covering a range of technical, operational, and/or management areas in a specified field. Develops training curricula and/or recommends or utilizes vendor programs that meet instructional goals and objectives. Formulates training outlines and determines instructional methods, utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness of such methods as individual training, group instruction, demonstrations, conferences, meetings, and workshops. Induct new hires to the business and conduct orientation sessions. Training Evaluation Ensure that evaluation form is in place to measure training provided Assists in analyzing and assessing training and development needs for individuals. Assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employees work behavior Attend courses conducted by external providers on an ad hoc basis to ensure quality facilitation is taking place. Reporting Prepare and present monthly reports on training implemented Coordinates or performs administrative functions necessary to deliver and document training programs. Required Education Bachelors Degree or Diploma in HR or equivalent (NQF 5 and above) Qualified Artisan (Preferred) Required Experience At least 8 years post-qualification experience in the manufacturing industry Must have good understanding of grant application requirements and processes.
