Key Responsibilities: Manage virtualisation environments, including VMWare, vSphere, and ESXi. Configure and monitor Storage Area Networks (SAN) and implement disaster recovery solutions. Set up and support Windows Failover Clustering, Microsoft Exchange, and Active Directory. Administer Azure Cloud environments and collaborate on hybrid setups. Develop and optimise backup strategies with tools like VEEAM. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to servers, networking, and storage systems. Provide technical leadership and mentorship within the engineering team. Requirements: 57 years of experience in system engineering. Strong expertise in SAN, VMWare, and Windows Server. Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell) and system architecture design. Knowledge of disaster recovery and high availability systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS. Skills and Attributes: Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Adaptability and a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
