As a
Junior Technology Generalist , you will work across multiple functional areas, gaining exposure to a variety of projects and learning foundational technical skills in a supportive environment.
You will engage in a range of activities relating to the tech space, from support to development, operations and commercials, while receiving mentorship to help you explore different areas within technology.
Responsibilities :
- Assist in supporting cross-functional tech and business projects.
- Conduct research and data analysis to provide insights for decision-making.
- Collaborate with technical and business teams to gather requirements and document processes.
- Take on introductory tasks in software development or related technical projects.
- Develop basic project management skills by assisting in planning, tracking, and reporting on tasks.
- Participate in team meetings, contributing insights and engaging in collaborative discussions.
- Work in an Agile space and learning the Agile way.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelors degree in Commerce, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Academic Performance :
- GPA of 70% or higher from UCT, Stellenbosch, Wits, or UP.
- GPA of 80% or higher from other universities.
- Experience : 0-3 years in a related field; fresh graduates are welcome.
- Preferred Skills :
- Interest or foundational knowledge in software development is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to adapt and work collaboratively in a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
