External Sales Executive
Our client is a well-established company with 17 years of experience in importing lighting solutions and with 3 branches nationally. They are seeking to place an External Sales Executive to call on clients in the territory stretching between Swellendam and Plettenberg Bay. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales, a strong background in external sales roles, and a keen interest in the electrical or lighting industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the designated territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Provide professional product presentations and demonstrations to customers.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with the internal sales team to ensure excellent customer service and support.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Prepare accurate sales reports and forecasts on a regular basis.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Minimum of a matric qualification required.
- Own reliable transportation (car) is essential.
- 5+ years of proven experience in external sales roles.
- Experience in the electrical or lighting industry is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a drive to succeed in a competitive market.
