Job Requirements:
- Liase with users on requirements
- Document requirements, processes and business rules
- Business process mapping
- Business model analysis, design and documentation
- Provide recommendations on process improvements
- Translate requirements into technical specifications
- Liase with and support developers/technical team to unpack requirements during development lifecycle
- Ensure that solutions meet business objectives
- Design and conduct functional testing throughout the development cycle
- Provide support through user acceptance testing
- Daily stand-ups and regular project meetings
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Understand and have experience with the application development lifecycle
- Experience with Agile/SCRUM and some kind of project methodology
- Business Process Modelling and related software experience
- Business Process Design and Frameworks knowledge advantageous
- Passion for understanding and working with data and systems
- Experience with data modelling and databases advantageous
- Experience in telecommunications and/or financial services/retail industry highly preferable
- Experience in Logistics/Supply Chain management would be beneficial
- Experience with SQL advantageous
- Experience with BI software would be beneficial
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2-3 years’ experience as a business analyst or relevant experience working with data or developing applications
- Any related degree/diploma or certification preferable:
- Information Systems
- Application Dev
- Information Technology
- Commerce/Science degree in. Maths/Stats/Applied Maths/Comp Science
- Engineering
- Business Analysis certification/diploma
