Are you a diligent and detail-oriented Stock Controller seeking to join a vibrant and dynamic team? The Stock Controller will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management process, ensuring accuracy in stock records, and optimizing stock levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess inventory.
Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements - Matric
- Proven experience in stock control, inventory management, or a similar role
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in stock control
Duties - Manage and maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including incoming and outgoing stock
- Coordinate with management and warehouse teams to ensure timely receipt and dispatch of goods
- Conduct regular stock counts and audits to reconcile physical stock with system records
- Identify discrepancies or variances in stock levels and investigate root causes
- Implement and maintain efficient stock control procedures to minimize shrinkage and losses
- Monitor inventory turnover rates and make recommendations for optimizing stock levels
- Generate reports on stock levels, movement, and trends for management review
- Collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan stock replenishment accordingly
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to stock management and control
