Leading and well-established engineering manufacturing company based in Wadeville requires an experienced Cost & Management Accountant.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
B Comm, CMA or CIMA & 5 years’ experience in costing
2 Years experience must be within a manufacturing environment
2 Years experience in a management position to include staff supervision.
MS Office and ERP computer experience similar to SAP / Syspro is essential
This position reports to the FD
You will manage the management accounting function to ensure it contributes to the growth and profitability of the company.
You will provide management with accurate accounting information, relating to the products supplied by the company, in order to satisfy the identified information needs of management, operating from the manufacturing plant in Wadeville.
DUTIES :-
Prepare meaningful accounting information on the products produced to monitor the profitability of the products.
Prepare the monthly reports within deadlines
Prepare the monthly management reports timeously
Provide information for management to use in their decision-making process.
Assist with setting of the budget
You will assess and regulate the work in the department so that approved plans are accomplished
Ensure accounting deviations are corrected promptly
Ensure the financial accounting reporting is accurate
Manage the maintenance store so that it runs efficiently and effectively.
Ensure that the production information represents the physical production of the month.
