Minimum Requirements:

Diploma in Cost Accountant majoring in Costing
Previous experience in costing
Experience with AccPac, TM1 Cognos and fraxion will be an advantage
High proficiency in Excel and MS Office
Emotionally mature and able to work well under pressure
Clear credit and criminal history

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain an integrated costing system / report with specified primary and secondary cost centres
Review and maintain data accumulation systems and controls needed for the cost accounting system and reporting within an accounting framework on a monthly basis
Analysis of expenses and ensure allocation to correct primary and secondary cost centres
Report on periodic variances and their causes, focusing in particular on spending variances
Provide reports and explanations to line management
Reviewing overhead costs to ensure correct allocation and reporting
Produce operational costing calculations i.e. transport job costing and tender costing
Produce profitability calculation for manufacturing divisions
- Capital project cost tracking
