AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY ESSENTIAL
Requirements & Experience:
- National Diploma:Quality or NationalDiploma in Engineering. B-Tech Quality/City&Guilds
- Computer literate (Intermediate to Advanced MS-Offices kills)
- Coretools Certification.
- Project Management Qualification.
- Manufacturing process knowledge coupled with mechanical and technical logic.
- Read and understand technical drawings and/or plans.
- 3+yearsexperience in quality in an automotive environment
- 2+ years experience in implementing and auditing quality system within an automotive environment.
- Manage Customers (visits, complaints etc)
- Manage Suppliers
Responsibility:
- Compile and maintain policies and procedures in accordance with IATF16949 and customer requirements
- Maintain the Plant Quality Manual and Procedures from the other departments
- Ensure that all quality controlled records are identified and maintained
- Continuous improvement of product quality and systems by analysing performance and implementation of corrective action/s when required
- Identify and implement continuous improvement areas to maintain agreed quality level of system and parts
