To evaluate and present applications for funding that contribute towards the Corporate Social Investment (CSI) socio development goals. This would include:
- performing the financial due diligence function and ensuring risk identification and mitigation; and
- monitoring the utilization of disbursed funds and outcomes of all successful applications
QUALIFICATIONS:
•   Minimum qualification: BCom/Financial Management Degree Â
KNOWLEDGE EXPERIENCE:
•   At least 5 – 8 years related experienceÂ
•   Experience in interpretation of financial statementsÂ
•   Experience in financial reporting
•   Experience in monitoring implementation of project
•   CSI specific knowledge would be advantageousÂ
Financial / Shareholder Returns
- Ensure financial soundness of all CSI applications
- Monitor the utilization of funds disbursed to all successful applicants
- Evaluate annual financial statements of all applicationsÂ
Internal / Operational Processes
- Evaluating applications for financial soundness through due diligence investigations
- Designing and negotiating the financial and other relationships with the applicants
- Risk identification and mitigation
- Participate in due diligence teams
- Ensuring that the applications are aligned with the strategic objectives of Corporate Affairs and will contribute to meeting departmental (CSI) goals
- Prepare budget proposals for inclusion in submissions for approval by the Corporate Affairs Committee
- Ensuring accurate client data management
- Liaise with financial management department on all CSI disbursementÂ

- Maintain meaningful relationships with enquirers and applicants in conjunction with different support functions in the organization.
- To effectively interact with different departments (CRAD), Legal, FM) in order to fulfil the process requirements related to any specific application.
