East Rand Bulk, an accredited fuel transportation company, is currently seeking a young, vibrant, and energetic individual to join our team as a Diesel Trailer Mechanic.
Main purpose of this position:
- To maintain and perform routine maintenance on the company's HDV fleet as well as fuel trailers.
- To order, as required, correct spares or vehicle parts, receive, safely utilize, and complete inspections before releasing to relevant departments.
- Ensure all fleet meets Company, Oil Companies, and Legal Requirements through proper maintenance, including completion of all relevant documentation, which must be of the highest standards.
Minimum qualifications/traits:
- Certifiable Trade Test Certificate.
- Qualified in diesel Motors and mechanical engineering.
- EXCELLENT knowledge of Fuel Tankers and Trailers and possibly in pneumatics.
- Good knowledge of Fleet Maintenance procedures.
- Familiar with working on different brands of trucks e.g., Man, Volvo & Mercedes.
- Willing to attend breakdowns.
- Computer literacy is a necessity.
- Must have own tools.
- At least 5 years minimum experience in a similar position.

- Ability to work unsupervised and under pressure.
