Job description:
The purpose of this position is to provide full support to the broker consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Application of underwriting policy.
- Compiling quotations with suggested rate or pricing on behalf of broker consultant.
- Manage administrative documentation (detailed records).
- Build and maintain good working relationships internal and external.
- Recording details of transactions.
- Handling broker queries verbal and written.
- Ensure FAIS compliance.
- Maintaining service level agreement deadlines.
- Provide technical insurance knowledge input.
- Administration of welcome packs to new brokers.
- Organising of brokers consultants’ diaries.
- Distribution of month end reporting.
Minimum Requirements:
- FAIS Compliant (Commercial) & RE5.
- Matric certificate.
- Minimum of 1-3 years’ relevant commercial underwriting and/or sales support experience in the short-term insurance industry.
- Technical Short-term insurance knowledge - Commercial.
