Our client supplies industrial equipment to their clients and manages the installation, maintenance, and repairs on these equipment as well as the automation, technology control and combustion. They require the skills of a Trade Tested Fitter.
Position: Fitter / Pump Fitter
Industry: Industrial Energy Industry
Location: Germiston Gauteng
Salary: Market related depending on qualifications and experience
Start date: ASAP
Requirements:
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Red Seal Trade Certification as Fitter / Pump Fitter.
- Valid Forklift license an added advantage.
- Must be more assembly orientated.
- Ability to work with tolerances.
- Must understand limits and fits, Material Grades.
- Experience with Hydraulic Press, General Assembly, Hand Tools, Power tools, Oxygen/Acetylene Torch, Etc.
- Understanding of Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Pressure in all Streams and proven experience as such.
- Workshop Based with Valves and Pumps Assembly and Overhaul Capability.
- Will be required to fill out paperwork, Receive/Dispatch as well as good timekeeping record.
- Must be an individual that works systematically with cleanliness and housekeeping in mind.
- Willing to work overtime when needed at short notice.
- Willing to prove himself/herself as well as willing to learn.
- Not restricted to title, must be willing to pick up a broom/mop when necessary.
- Most Importantly, the individual must want to be in Engineering for a career.
