Are you passionate about B2B technology sales and driven by the challenge of building strong client relationships? We’re on the lookout for a talented ICT Account Manager with prior experience within the telecommunications industry to join our dynamic team in Roodepoort.
The successful incumbent must be skilled as both a hunter and a farmer, always on the lookout for new business while nurturing existing connections. This is an office-based role with all client interactions and communications handled telephonically or digitally.
You will be at the forefront of maintaining and growing a portfolio of corporate clients. Your mission? Drive New Business, Cross-Sell like a pro, and reduce churn, all while achieving a stellar 90% in-contract portfolio. You’ll be the go-to person for your clients, ensuring their needs are met, queries are answered promptly, and their overall experience with us is nothing short of exceptional. Success in this role means smashing sales targets and keeping our customers smiling!
Key Responsibilities:
New Business development and client retention:
- Conduct cold calling to acquire new corporate clients
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and KPIs
- Leverage your skills to up-sell and cross-sell within the existing customer base
- Maintain regular contact with your customer base, with a strong emphasis on new business development
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients
- Conduct thorough customer account analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Provide ongoing service to clients, ensuring their needs are met on a regular basis
Query Management:
- Address and resolve customer concerns and queries promptly
- Provide feedback to customers within 24 hours to ensure satisfaction
Reporting:
- Prepare and submit weekly pipeline reports
- Maintain daily activity and sales reports
- Provide monthly reports on customer base and opportunities
- Deliver accurate forecasts, reports, and insights into customer requirements, business performance, and market competition
Processes and Procedures:
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Ensure all customer interactions are recorded accurately and timely in the relevant systems
Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 / Matric essential
- At least 3 years’ B2B Sales and Account Management experience, ideally within the ICT industry , with a proven track record of growing new business
- Comprehensive knowledge of the ICT products within the telecommunications industry required
- A strong understanding of large/corporate client management and sales principles
- Familiarity with tenders and large account management
- Proficient in MS office
