Key Performance Areas (KPA’s):
KPA’s will include (but are not limited to) the following essential responsibilities:
- Manage administration & processing of all student stipends.
- Ensure stipends process are followed:
- Process stipend calculation sheets upon receival from respective Admin Managers
- Populate stipend calculation sheets
- Responsible to process stipends on SAGE300
- Request proof of payment for all stipends
- File proof of payments along with stipend calculation sheet and authorized payment sheet.
Act as an integral link for financial reporting and internal controls Meticulous record keeping of all employee information and payroll requirements. Administration & assistance with processing of payrolls. Assist in payroll compliance procedures: Process monthly EMP201, internal & external audit compliance, UI-19, updating of monthly payroll, etc. General filing and document retention
Education & Experience:
- Relevant tertiary qualification, plus knowledge of payroll systems & processes
- 2-3 years’ relevant experience including professional level.
- A good knowledge of, and demonstrable experience in SETA processes, QCTO interface
- Experience in Sage 300 payroll system
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
