Are you an Estimator with experience calculating costs and bids for steel projects looking for your next permanent job? Do you have experience within Highways or Rail? Can you produce detailed Estimates to a high standard? Able to identify labour, time and material costs and follow up on quotations? Would commuting to the Blackburn area of Lancashire be OK? Duties will include:
- Preparing preliminary budgets
- Milestone cost estimates
- Building effective relationships with team members, internal and external customers, suppliers, and contractors
- Preparing estimated costs of materials, labour, and equipment
- Managing job-specific estimating teams in the assembly and submission of bids
- Consulting with clients, subcontractors, and material suppliers to discuss and formulate estimates
Person required:
- Forward thinking , progressive, dynamic leader who has excellent interpersonal and management skills
- Steel Estimating experience
- Relevant Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and handle pressure

Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE
