The role of the Payroll and Benefits Analyst is pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of benefit data and reporting predominantly for the UK, with other EMEA territories on an ad-hoc basis. This role provides advisory services and analytical support to the wider Reward team supporting EMEA within the international business.
Activities are associated with benefit and payroll reporting, HRIS reporting, invoice reconciliation, and support with other reporting projects such as gender pay gap and the annual pay review.
What You Will Be Doing
- Compiling monthly HRIS reports and submitting them on the benefits platform using different HR and Payroll systems to extract data.
- Managing joiners and leavers for multiple benefits providers each month, building starter and leaver reports, and conducting regular reconciliations.
- Working on relationships with external suppliers and professional advisors including brokers and benefits consultants.
- Reconciling insurance-based benefit reports, compiling reports based on eligibility for each plan, and calculating contributions to ensure payroll deductions are correct.
- Building current headcount, fixed and variable compensation reports as requested.
- Handling all benefit renewals end to end from recommendation to approval to implementation.
- Dealing with employee benefits queries that come through the benefits mailbox in a timely manner.
- Reconciling breakdowns received from benefits providers and payroll reports to ensure correct invoicing.
- Assisting with the annual salary and bonus review processes.
- Assisting with monthly payroll processing and audits.
- Advising on Payroll, HR Services, and benefits matters, providing guidance and support on benefit matters.
- Delivering employee benefit presentations where required.
- Building and analysing employee engagement across multiple benefit platforms and suggesting strategies to improve engagement.
Who You Are
- Strong skills across various Microsoft Office software programs, particularly MS Excel.
- Experience in working within an HR Services / Payroll / Benefits team in a large organization.
- Skilled in building strong team relationships and fostering collaborative working methods.
- Experience of working with third-party providers to ensure service levels are achieved.
- Good current technical HR and Payroll knowledge.
- Strong organisational and written and verbal communication skills.
- A track record of high performance and the ability to deliver excellent results consistently.
