Luxury Hotel & Apartments in Century City is looking for a Housekeeping Manager. The Housekeeping Manager will manage the housekeeping department, implement and monitor systems and conditions that provide guests and operations with outstanding service. Liaise with all appropriate internal and external parties, always demonstrating service excellence and a positive guest experience.
Requirements:
- Matric Certificate & Relevant tertiary diploma
- At least five years’ experience as a housekeeping manager / housekeeping supervisor
- The ability to convey clear instructions to colleagues while being mindful of tight operational deadlines.
- Ability to focus intently on ensuring consistent high-quality personalised service
- Fluent English speaker
- Drivers License essential
- Competent working knowledge of Word and Excel, Outlook and other Hotel Management Systems
- Efficient time management skills
- Keen attention to detail with excellent follow-through capabilities
- Diplomatic and able to deal with people at all levels with confidence and ease, friendly and welcoming disposition.
- Able to remain calm and maintain professional outlook, even when under pressure.
- Drivers licence with own car essential will be an advantage
