Key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Monitor that all entities remain tax-compliant across various jurisdictions
- Oversee the full insurance function
- Ensure all debtor accounts are paid up to date
- Follow up on overdue accounts
- Review and approve the monthly rooftop rental invoices
- Prepare management accounts
- Complete and submit the monthly EMP201 forms
- Review month-end journals, including provisions, tax entries, intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and loan accounts
- Review monthly sales invoices
- Approve supplier payments before submission for bank approval
- Assist in the review of Financial Statements received from the Auditors
- Open and maintain bank accounts
- Manage Income Tax, VAT, and EMP registrations for new companies
- Complete any ad-hoc documentation as required
- Review VAT calculations and returns
- Assist with the completion and submission of annual income tax returns
- Support the BEE process and audits
Skills & Experience:
- Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
- A minimum of 3 years of post-article experience
- IFRS for SMEs
- Strong VAT, company tax and SARS knowledge
- Netsuite knowledge is advantageous
Qualification:
- Tertiary Degree in Finance
- Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles
