Key Responsibilities:
Create and modify detailed CAD models and drawings for sheet metal components using software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
Develop precise engineering specifications and drawings for fabrication.
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are optimized for production and meet all project requirements.
Assist in conducting engineering analysis, calculations, and testing to verify performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve design-related challenges, recommending improvements as needed.
Support project documentation, tracking changes, and maintaining accurate records of design iterations.
Ideal Candidate:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in mechanical design, with specific exposure to sheet metal components.
- Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent); knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes.
- Attributes: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
