Assistant Website Warehouse Manager

As the Assistant Website Warehouse Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage the accurate and efficient dispatching of all website orders. This includes managing employees in your department as well as handling all customer service queries related to the delivery process. This is on a 6-day work week.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the compliance of existing processes in the warehouse
- Ensure correct dispatch procedures are followed,
- Plan deliveries when needed,
- Efficient documentation process of picking slips, delivery notes, waybills and managing relations with third party logistics partners.
- Continually review available processes and data to ensure maximum efficiency.
- Extra planning and focus given to peak periods.
- Align transport requirements with the order.
- High level of customer service
- Management of quality control and accuracy of orders
- Accurate comparison of the invoice to the physical stock
- Ensure the correct orders are picked timeously.
- Quality control of stock handling
- Management of employees in your department
- Recruit new staff when needed.
- Attendance and timekeeping
- Disciplinary
- Performance Reviews
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Grade 12 or equivalent
- Relevant diploma/degree in logistics and/or operations is preferred.
- 3+ years retail/logistics experience
- Warehouse Management System experience
- Computer Literate – Word, Excel, Outlook & Google Sheets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
