My client currently has an opportunity in their engineering department for a Weekend Engineer- Mechanical Craftsperson.
The Weekend Engineer’s job will involve working in a maintenance team providing a maintenance service in support of production. The work will also include preventative and corrective maintenance, fault finding, problem solving, workshop repair and overhaul of a wide range of equipment.
The successful candidate must be a time served mechanical craftsperson with industrial experience and hold a minimum qualification of mechanical BTEC National certificate or equivalent. Computer skills, safety knowledge and the ability to work unsupervised are also needed.
The working hours are Friday 7.45am – 4.30pm, Saturday and Sunday 6am – 6pm and Monday 6am – 2.30pm.
