You will lead the Thornybush Spa (TGL and Simbambili). You will collaborate with the Head of Lodge Operations to set a world-class guest experience. Ideally, you will have no less than 5 years of working experience in a high-end spa and a proven track record of successfully leading your team.
What you will be doing
This is a full-time on-site role for a Spa & Wellness Manager at Thornybush in Limpopo, South Africa. The Spa & Wellness Manager will be responsible for daily spa operations, managing guest experiences, overseeing communication strategies, and maintaining budgeting responsibilities.
This will include:
- Overall day-to-day operations of the Spas.
- Monthly personnel and administrative requirements.
- Site visits to Simbambili.
- Hosting.

Technical Skills
- Somatology or similar qualification. An internationally recognised qualification would be advantageous.
- A Pilates or Yoga Qualification Advantageous
Requirements
- Health & Wellness, Customer Service, and Employee Wellness skills
- Budgeting proficiency
- Experience in the luxury hospitality industry
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Knowledge of holistic wellness practices
- No less than 4 years as a Senior Spa Therapist.
- Ideally, no less than 18 months as a Spa Manager.
- No less than 3-years’ experience in a high-end facility
- Drivers Licence
- Clear criminal record
Contract type: Permanent (Hoedspruit)
Sites: Thornybush Game Lodge and Simbambili
Work Cycle: 6 weeks on 2 weeks off
