Admin/Accounts Assistant Our client is a leading company in the frozen food industry, specialising in the supply of frozen vegetables, fruits, and other food products. On their behalf, we are currently looking for an Admin/Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis.
Location: Beckley, East Sussex
This is a part-time position (20 hours per week), with the requirement to work full-time hours during the Administration Manager's annual leave. Hourly Rate: £14.56 per hour (weekly pay)
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day (9am to 1pm)
Alternatively, Monday to Thursday, 5 hours per day (9am to 2pm)
Main Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage purchase and sales ledgers.
- Reconcile company credit card and bank accounts.
- Assist with the preparation of monthly and year-end accounts.
- Process customer orders and update relevant spreadsheets.
- Update stock spreadsheets as required.
- Arrange import/export paperwork as needed.
- Provide assistance to any team member as required.
- Coordinate logistics.
- Perform any other tasks as needed.
Skills Required: - Experience with purchase/sales ledgers and bank reconciliations.
- Proficiency in using Xero software and Excel.
- High accuracy in handling financial data and reconciling accounts.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Clear written and verbal communication with team members and clients.
