The Recruitment Group is looking for a Bakery Production Operative to work for our new client based in Barrow upon Soar. We are seeking a Bakery Production Operative who can follow instructions and work quickly in a team environment. If you feel this could be your role, please read the below. Please note that this is a temp to perm position.
Pay for the Bakery Production Operative:
- £11.44 to £12.50 per hour depending on experience
Hours:
- Monday to Friday 7am to 3pm
- 30 minute unpaid break
About the role temp to perm
You will be working within a food production environment and your duties will include:
- Working within the bakery section, making and prepping products per specifications, training, and instructions
- Clean ovens, prep workstations, and tools
- Ensure all equipment operates properly at all times
- Adhering to hygiene working practices to ensure the highest possible standards, and all procedures relating to food safety, legality, and quality are adhered to
About You:
- Happy to work in a fast-paced environment
- One year s experience in a bakery environment
- You must be resourceful and adaptable
- Moving ingredients and equipment around during production
- Comfortable with handling, preparing, and baking food which involves long periods of standing, lifting, and carrying as well as other tasks such as cleaning
- Must be able to change tasks or areas as requested
- Good communication skills verbal and written
- Need to have a can-do attitude and be willing to get stuck in
- Work as part of a team and be able to follow instruction
- All body piercings, false eyelashes, and false nails must be removed
- All nail varnish must be removed
- A Food Hygiene certificate would be beneficial but not essential
