Accounts Assistant
I am currently recruiting on behalf of my prestigious client, based in Rugeley, for an experienced Accounts Assistant, to join the team on a full-time, permanent contract.
The successful applicants tasks will be ensuring the debtor list is managed and outstanding client balances are organised and scheduled for collection. Attention to detail, confidence in dealing with clients, accuracy in reporting and being process driven is essential.
The post provides both clerical and administrative support to managers, either as part of a team or individually depending on the task. The role plays a vital part in the administration and smooth-running of businesses.

Previous Accounts/Finance Assistance experience is essential alongside Credit Control experience too.
About the role:
- Chasing Debt
- Debtors individual accounts reconciliations
- Processing sales invoices
- Monthly statements & client rebate
- Effectively dealing with accounts queries
- Processing cash receipts
- Client credit checks
- Creating invoices
- Filing
- Communicating with customers
Hours and Pay:
- Monday to Friday
- Salary up to 26,000 - dependent on experience
About you:
- Accounts/Finance Assistance is essential
- Credit Control experience is desired
- Competent daily user of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to meet deadlines and targets
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
