In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery by lubricating moving parts, managing waste streams, and monitoring metal working fluids. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilise your technical skills and contribute to the success of our client's operations.
What you'll be doing:
- Cleaning, inspecting, and lubricating moving parts of machines
- Deploying oil skimmers to manage waste streams
- Extracting end-of-life fluids from machines and adding/topping up replacement fluids
- Monitoring metal working fluids for pH, bacteria, tramp oil, and refractometry
- Supporting the wider lubrication team onsite in other day-to-day tasks
- Managing and maintaining equipment
- Keeping accurate records of work carried out
- Managing coolant stocks and raising purchase orders for the team
What you need:
- Previous experience as a Lubrication/MWF Technician
- Strong knowledge of lubrication processes and techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
- Good record-keeping and organisational skills
This is a temporary ongoing position, initially for 3 months with the possibility of a temp to perm opportunity. You'll be working Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm, with a competitive pay rate of 15.38 per hour ( 30,000 equivalent annual salary).
