Novax Recruitment is actively seeking a Pension Officer in Southwark. This is a contract with a scope for extension working full time hours.
The job:
- To provide comprehensive administrative support services to the Pensions Management Team
- To ensure the provision of a high quality pension's service that meets service standards and complies with statutory regulations
- To provide specialist advice and administrative support on pension issues
- To assist with the establishment of relevant policies, systems and procedures in conjunction with the Council policy and procedures and to ensure the department complies with them
- Deal with casework of different complexities, seeking assistance from senior officers, and provide guidance and support to Assistant Pension Officers
The candidate:
- 2 years of experience within a local authority is essential
- Previous pensions experience is essential
- Proficient computer skills, MS Word, Outlook and Excel essential E S/I
