General Manager

Due to continued expansion, we're recruiting an experienced General Manager to join our well established client.

Duties:

Responsible for the day to day running and efficient manufacturing, assembly, stocking and quality of all component parts associated within the company s portfolio of products.
Managing staff across all functions within production.
Oversee and create scheduled plans for the efficient running of all departments.
Assist the Production Director in every aspect of running the Manufacturing Division.
Ensure production targets and objectives are achieved, utilise internal stocking system for production planning / scheduling throughout all departments.

Requirements:

A hands on approach and can-do attitude is essential.
Good communications skills.
Experience of production planning, supply chain management, monitoring sales orders/stock, forecasting for future demand of new and existing products is required.
Proficient in Microsoft package including Excel and Outlook.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Understanding of the Injection moulding process and Mould tooling.
Good negotiation skills and an understanding of Lean Manufacturing.
