Major Recruitment are currently seeking an experience Production Manager with cable management knowledge.
The role of a Production Manager is to have a full understanding of roll forming and its associated processes for the
construction industry and have a full understanding of the Company's manufacturing systems. You will be required to communicate and work with other departments including technical, sales, transport, quality and health and safety.

- Full understanding of our manufacturing systems and be capable of operating in a 'Kanban & just in time' environment Excellent managerial skills
- Be well organised, multi-skilled, self-motivated, and professional
- Computer literate
- Attention to detail; accuracy is paramount
- Responsible for achieving objectives on own initiative, as well as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and attendance
- Be consistent with workload and work to tight deadlines
- Be flexible with tasks/duties so that adequate cover is available if ever required
- Be able to communicate at all levels and have a "can do" attitude
Role & Responsibilities
- Organise and manage all aspects of production
- Understand the needs of customers and adjust production to suit
- Ensure Company health and safety requirements are complied with and improved
- Ensure Company personnel requirements are achieved
- Ensure continuous improvement and all production KPIs are maintained and improved
- Ensure working hours match production requirements
- Ensure tooling requirements are maintained and achieved
- Assist with new product and process development
- Ensure maintenance requirements for plant and equipment are achieved and attend technical / maintenance meetings
- Communicate and work with the Production Director and other departments as required.
