About the Raw Materials Technologist job
The main purpose of your role will be to support the company in ensuring raw materials (including packaging) meet legal, company and customer requirements.
Key tasks:
- Request and review of raw material specifications from suppliers.
- Ensure internal database is kept up to date with raw material information.
- Supporting with customer audits including traceability requests.
- Internal approval of new raw materials & suppliers to site.
- Supporting in investigating raw material non-conformances with suppliers.
About You
- Ideally educated to a degree / HND level in food science, food technology or related discipline.
- Previous experience in a food manufacturing technical or similar role, preferably in supplier/raw material management.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of food safety, raw materials specifications, and supplier approval processes.
