About the role:
As a Factory Manager at Superfine, you will be integral to the daily operations of our manufacturing facility. You will ensure production activities align with our quality and safety standards while efficiently meeting customer demands. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will lead a dedicated team to achieve excellence, coordinating production schedules and managing resources effectively.
Main duties and responsibilities will include:
- Manage production schedules and ensure timely availability of raw materials.
- Lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment.
- Drive improvements in production processes and enhance production metrics.
- Ensure all products meet stringent quality standards and address issues promptly.
- Promote a safety culture and ensure adherence to safety guidelines.
- Manage raw material inventories and work towards reducing waste.
- Prepare performance reports and maintain clear communication with management.
About you:
You should possess a bachelor s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field, with proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment. Technical proficiency in production management software and a strong grasp of methodologies like Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma are essential. Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities are crucial. You should be able to work under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail, and adapt to changing priorities.
