We are currently working with a very high profile international clien who are a leading facilities management provider in the UK. They require an experienced Head Chef for their contract catering operation in Dishforth, North Yorkshire. This is is a permanent position with a starting salary of 30,000.
You will be managing a chef brigade but be expected to work independently as and when required. It is crucial that you are comfortable stock ordering and stocktaking, menu planning and rota management, and understanding of all relevant health & safety food hygeine requirements. With this in mind you must have a Food Hygeine Certificate minimum level 2.
You will be contracted to a minimum of 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week mainly Monday to Friday with some weekend work as required. Hours of work will be between 6am and 8pm.
