Key Responsibilities: - Stock and Material Planning: Handle materials planning (MRP), scheduling, and SAP reconciliation to keep raw materials stocked for production needs.
- Inbound & Outbound Coordination: Organise material receipt, storage, stock control, and dispatch to meet production schedules and customer orders.
- Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve any material or distribution issues, ensuring compliance with environmental and health safety (EHS) standards.
- Communication & Teamwork: Liaise with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to keep distribution running smoothly.
- Team Oversight: Step in to manage the distribution team s daily operations in the Distribution Manager s absence, ensuring warehouse and dispatch activities remain on schedule.
The Ideal Candidate: - Brings manufacturing experience and ideally has SAP knowledge.
- Has a keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
- Communicates effectively across teams and builds positive relationships.
