Introduction
Our client, a leading company in the energy sector, is currently seeking a Smart Metering Engineer (Dual Fuel) to join their team in a permanent, full-time role. You'll help to deliver the successful installations of Dual Fuel Smart Meters in domestic residential properties.
What you'll be doing:
Some of your typical activities will include:
- Completing Smart Meter Installations to domestic properties
- Managing your stock levels on van and/or via 'dropbox' facilities
- Providing first-class customer service, support and energy efficiency advice
- Making sure that all worksheet submissions are accurate and timely
- Working closely with the Smart Metering Operations Manager to meet targets
- Planning and managing your own workload in line with company deadlines
- Resolving customer queries in a professional and efficient manner
What you'll need to succeed:
- Previous Dual Fuel Metering experience
- Required certifications:
- Electrical: MOCOPA or EUSR
- Gas: MET1 and either CMA1 or CCN1
- Experience of working in a target led environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and keep to deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
