About the Role
As a QA Team Lead, you'll play an essential role in ensuring that all incoming raw materials meet our stringent quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate quality checks on raw materials intake, ensuring all materials meet agreed specifications
- Act as the main QA contact for material quality assessment, with the ability to address issues promptly on the floor
- Supervise and support the QA team in inspecting incoming goods, managing non-conformities, and addressing issues promptly
- Lead a team of 5 direct reports
- Engage with suppliers and troubleshoot in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
About You
This role is ideal for a candidate with a strong background in materials quality assurance, especially within an FMCG environment. Strong leadership skills and the ability to make quick, informed decisions are crucial.
Key Skills
- Proven experience in materials QA, preferably within FMCG
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities
- Proactive and enthusiastic approach to tasks
- Basic computer proficiency
- HACCP Level 3 or similar food safety qualification (desirable)
Working Hours
- Tuesday to Saturday, 8am-4pm
