Bakkavor Spalding has three factories based on the same site in Spalding, Lincolnshire, employing over 1500 people. These production units produce soups, sauces, dips as part of our meals range as well as salad accompaniments such as coleslaw and pasta salads, sandwich wraps and food to go salads.
Responsibilities - Support and maintain records for all internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure they are valid and fully compliant with the requirements.
- Ensure that the SHE Management System is implemented and used by the relevant departments. Work with and support relevant departments to ensure understanding of the system and effective use.
- Use the Bakkavor CARE system to analyse data to make recommendations and monitor system uptake whilst promoting usage throughout the site.
- Embody a positive safety culture, promoting safe behaviour. Working with teams
across the site(s) to create and communicate best practices and learnings. - Coordinate the site(s) risk management plan through identification of actions to drive
risk reduction and deliver continuous improvement. - Be a team player, sharing your knowledge and expertise within the SHE and site team.
- Delivering coaching and support to stakeholders
You will need: - SHE experience in manufacturing environment
- Ideally holding NEBOSH qualifications, but candidates working towards one will be considered
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Attention to details
- Ability to influence stakeholders on various levels
- Great interpersonal skills and approachable attitude
