My client is seeking a skilled
Assembly Operative to join their production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling production assemblies and sub-assemblies, adhering to quality standards and test procedures. This role involves building various assemblies from kits, performing functionality testing, and participating in continuous improvement processes.

Assembly Operative Responsibilities: - Assemble sub-assemblies and production assemblies from kits to final assembly of downlead cables and headset assemblies
- Conduct work-in-progress functionality testing of cable and headset assemblies
- Route wires and install electrical components according to specifications and drawings
- Use hand tools and machinery for various assembly tasks, including cutting, crimping, and soldering
- Participate in and/or lead corrective action and feedback teams
- Interpret technical drawings and liaise with Quality and other departments
- Ensure adherence to production, quality standards, and continuous improvement processes
Assembly Operative Requirements: - Previous experience within a similar role (essential)
- Soldering experience (essential)
- Proven experience in a production environment, with both electrical and mechanical assembly skills (essential)
- Computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office (essential)
- Electrical Engineering qualification (desirable)
