We are currently seeking an Upholsterer to join our team. The Upholsterer will be responsible for repairing and restoring furniture by covering with materials such as leather, fabric, or vinyl. Duties - Assemble furniture components to prepare for upholstery - Fabricate and sew upholstery materials to cover furniture pieces - Use hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and attaching materials - Perform heavy lifting of furniture pieces during the upholstery process - Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met Requirements - Previous experience in upholstery or a similar role within a warehouse environment - Mechanical knowledge for operating hand tools and power tools effectively - Proficiency in fabricating and sewing upholstery materials - Ability to lift heavy furniture pieces during the upholstery process Job Type: Full-time Pay: 16.50 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Canteen Free parking On-site parking Schedule: Day shift Monday to Friday Experience: Upholstery: 3 years (preferred) Work Location: On the road Job Type: Full-time Pay: 13.00- 16.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
