Staff Group are working with a beautiful hotel in Chester who are looking for a new Conference & Events Manager to join the team.
- Job Title: Conference & Events Manager
- Salary: Up to 32k DOE
- Location: Chester
- Holidays: 28 days
- Contracted Hours: 40 hours per week.

Brief overview of the role:
- As a large venue with many different events spaces, you will manage multiple events at any given time.
- Working with the wider team to plan, implement, and execute excellent events which include conferences, weddings, and parties.
- Coordinating suppliers and managing event logistics.
- Overseeing the event on the day, or guiding your colleagues, ensuring that the event runs smoothly.
- Being a personal and key point of contact for weddings throughout the planning process.
- This person will be heavily involved with the promotion of weddings at the venue for 2025 / 2026.
Required skills and experience:
- Experience in a hotel environment is essential.
- Experience of working in an Events role is essential.
- Excellent IT skills, which will include MS Excel.
- Able to positively manage a team.
- Customer experience is at the heart of everything you do.
- A personable and presentable individual who loves to bring an event to life.
- Flexibility and reliability are a must.
