A day in this role looks like….
As a Team Managerat Hestia, you will play a crucial role in our Mental Health & Complex Needs. Your contributions will directly influence the lives of our service users, guiding them towards a path of empowerment and independence.
A day will never look the same and some of the things you can expect to do/be responsible for are:
- To manage all aspects of the clients' care, support and accommodation and delivery of regulated activities in line with CQC regulation.
- To ensure the delivery of a consistent and high-quality client-centered and recovery focused service which is co-produced with service users in accordance with the mission statement, values and strategic objectives of Hestia.
- To maintain ‘good' across all KLOEs as a minimum and strive for ‘outstanding'.
- To effectively manage and implement the project operational policy within the relevant legislative framework.
- To lead the delivery of the Registered Care Home within the regulations of the CQC and as the Registered Manager.
- Lead the creation, implementation and review of an annual business plan for the service in line with the organisational strategic objectives and the delivery requirements of the service.
- Develop and update a live risk register, implementing mitigation actions and interventions and reviewing the level of each identified risk on a regular basis.

We are looking for candidates who bring a combination of passion, expertise, and dedication to the table. To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Attained level 5 in health and social care or equivalent.
- Experience in leadership and management of a team with the ability to motivation and empower the team to facilitate positive differences for people.
- Demonstrable experience of managing services for people with complex mental health and understand the challenges that may present.
- Empathy for service users and the drive to be positive and assertive in support of recovery.
- Managerial experience in recruitment, induction, supervision, appraisal, learning and development, as well as performance management.
- High quality housing management experience.
- Experience in budgetary management and compliance with financial policies and procedures.
- Experience in developing positive working relationships with key stakeholders; service users, family, placement officers and a range of statutory, community and voluntary partners.
- The ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.
- The ability to manage information, analyse performance and practice in the team and make recommendations for change.
- Understanding of and the ability to implement good Equality, diversity, equity and inclusion practice.
