Metasurfaces play an important role in the development of future optical systems. The design and manufacturing of these advanced surfaces represent critical steps in the innovation process, as their characterization is essential for ensuring optimal performance. Depending on the specific application, the required level of accuracy can vary significantly, with different critical factors influencing the outcomes.
The key of the metasurface technology R&D relies on their design procedures. Various methods and algorithms are therefore currently being developed.
The task at hand is to contribute to the creation of the full design environment and its architecture. You will contribute to elementary modules within the design environment under development and play a key role in their creation and testing.
We invite you to join us in this exciting endeavor, where your contributions will play a vital role in supporting ZEISS field of metasurface technology.
-
Development of optimized phase meshing algorithm, elementary input database,…
-
Integration of optimization techniques in the design process flow
-
Support integration of meta-element within ray tracing software
-
Integration of metrology feedback and optimization metrology-based technique
-
Quantitative simulation of the tolerance budget on given applications
-
Development of algorithms and methods to support metasurface design for various applications
-
Theoretical and experimental comparison of the different meshing and sampling techniques
