_*Accounts Assistant – Sales & Purchase Ledger*_

_*Salary:*_ _£25,000 - £26,000 per annum_
_*Hours:*_ _9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (30 minutes lunch)_
_*Position Type:*_ _Office-based (Hybrid work after the New Year)_
_Our client is seeking an experienced all-round accounts professional to join their close-knit accounts team. This role will suit a proactive and confident individual, ideally with experience using Sage software, who is comfortable handling both Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger tasks._
_*Key Responsibilities:*_
* _Managing the Sales Ledger and Purchase Ledger processes efficiently._
* _Resolving customer and supplier queries via phone and email._
* _Assisting with reconciliations and account maintenance._
* _Providing general accounts support as required._
_*Ideal Candidate:*_
* _All-round accounts knowledge (Sales & Purchase Ledger experience is essential)._
* _Proficient in using Sage software._
* _Confident communicator – must be comfortable handling customer and supplier queries by phone._
* _Organised, with strong attention to detail._
* _A team player who is adaptable and able to work independently._
_*Additional Notes:*_
* _This is currently an office-based role, but the company plans to return to a hybrid working model in early 2025._
