The Management Accountant is essential in supporting the business by delivering precise financial information, analysis, and insights that aid management in making informed decisions. This position involves financial reporting, analysis, and improving financial controls. You will collaborate closely with finance and operations teams to produce and present accurate financial data for both internal and external stakeholders.
Financial Reporting
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management accounts.
* Ensure timely and accurate reporting, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
* Support the development of internal reporting processes and systems.
Cost Control & Efficiency Improvements
* Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process efficiencies.
* Support continuous improvement of financial control processes.
* Conduct regular reviews of expenses, procurement, and vendor contracts.
Management Reporting
* Collaborate with management to create and present reports that support operational and strategic decision-making.
Compliance & Control
* Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
* Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records to ensure data integrity.
* Data Integrity
* Validate and reconcile data for accuracy and completeness within financial statements and supporting documents.
Process Improvement
* Identify and implement process improvements for financial reporting, data collection, and reconciliation.
Stakeholder Collaboration
* Work with internal teams to support data requests, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely reporting.
Audit Support
* Assist in external and internal audit processes by providing documentation, analysis, and other support as required.
Administrative Support
* Provide general administrative support to the finance department.
* Assist with the organization and maintenance of financial records and documentation.
* Ensure control forms are completed and up to date on a monthly basis.
