Are you a healthcare professional looking for a company that shares your values?
Join us as a Functional Assessor and enjoy a great work life balance and a rewarding income, with a supportive team around you and a positive workplace culture.
As an Advo Functional Assessor, your support structure will be made up of people that know and understand what it is like to do the role.
Advo is a healthcare organisation through and through, with clinicians working in our highest management positions and shaping our group ethos.
With more than 10 years of experience delivering government assessment services and a commitment to professional development and training, Advo is an established provider and one of the best places to work as an assessor in the UK.
About the role
Play a crucial role in the functional and disability assessments process, a service that touches the lives of millions of people in the UK.
You will work autonomously to assess the cases of people who are applying for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP) benefit or a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of the DWPs Health Assessment and Advisory Services (HAAS). This will involve holding consultations and writing fair and accurate reports.
You will only work to assess people for PIP or WCA, not both. As part of your application process, we will advise you on which service you will work on and discuss what your training will involve.
You do not need to have worked as a Functional Assessor previously. We can support you in your career change with our accredited training programme and dedicated support structure.
